White Sangria

I think Sangria is great for a romantic picnic. YUM!

INGREDIENTS

1/2 c. sugar
1/4" lime slices (1-2 limes)
Cherries (Bing are best)
1 pt. strawberries
1/4" lemon slices, optional
1 nectarine sliced
1 c. grapes
1 fifth white wine
1/4 c. white rum
24 oz. lemon lime soda

DIRECTIONS

Combine sugar and fruit in large pitcher. Add liquor, refrigerate. Before serving, add lemon lime soda. Can be made ahead. Serves 10-12 people.
