Peanut Butter Bon Bons

Here's the PB bon bon recipe: (makes 14 dozen)


  • 1 1/2 c creamy peanut butter
  • 3/4 c margarine or butter, softened
  • 1 TBSP Vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 (14 oz) can Sweetened Condensed Milk
  • 2 pounds Confectioners' supar
  • 1 (24 oz) package Chocolate or Vanilla Flavored Candy Coating, melted and held over hot water (I use Choc Flav. Almond bark)


In a large mixer bowl, beat peanut butter, margarine, vanilla and salt until fluffy, gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk then confectioners' sugar until smooth. Shape into 1 inch balls. Place on baking sheets. Chill until firm. With wooden toothpick, dip each into melted candy coating, not coating completely, let excess candy coating drip off. Place on wax paper lined baking sheets, let stand or chill until firm. Store covered in refrigerator. These candies freeze well.
