Mushroom-Baguette StuffingOK, this is a recipe I've been using since I got married. Mike really likes it. INGREDIENTS
DIRECTIONSSaute butter, garlic, shallots, onions and mushrooms until soft. (In that order!) Cook and dice liver, season with salt and pepper and add to mushrooms. In a large mixing bowl, combine bread cubes, and enough milk to saturate. Drain bread squeezing gently. Add herbs and mix again. If desired, add egg to bind stuffing. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. |
