Miss Bev's Apple CrispHere's the recipe I always use. A friend contributed it to a library fundraiser cookbook. INGREDIENTS
DIRECTIONSPreheat oven to 375 degrees. Lightly spray 2-quart casserole
dish with oil spray. Arrange apples in dish. Sprinkle with lemon juice
and cinnamon. In medium bowl, combine flour, brown sugar and oatmeal.
Cut in margarine with fork or pastry blender until mixture is crumbly.
Spread over fruit. Bake 40 minutes, or until apples are tender. |
