Khichidi[Indian rice dish~~Jacqueline] INGREDIENTS
DIRECTIONScombine rice and dal to soak while preparing the rest. heat
the ghee and add the red chiles, cumin, bay leaves, cloves, peppercorns
and tumeric -- heat about 2 min. Add the onions till soft and then add
the rice/dal mix (drained) cook about 1 min. Finally add the water,
salt and garam masala and cook in pressure cooker. I do all of this in
my cooker. |
