Here's my favorite quiche recipe:

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 9inch unbaked pie crust
  • 2/3 C diced ham
  • 3/4 C shredded swiss cheese
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped fine)
  • dash of nutmeg
  • salt and pepper to taste

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 400 degrees
Put crust in quiche/pie dish and pierce with the tines of fork several times.
Sprinkle ham evenly over the pie crust. Then sprinkle the cheese over the ham. In large bowl, whisk the eggs and cream together until well blended. Stir in the parsley, nutmeg and s&p. Pour the mixture over the ham and cheese. Bake about 25 minutes or until filling is set and golden.

(I use the Pillsbury ready made pie crust from the refridgerated section with Pillsbury rolls. Also, in the meat section you can buy a thick slice of ham, called a ham steak.)
