Fruity Ice Pops
- 1 cup 100% fruit juice of your choice
- 1 cup plain lowfat yogurt
- 1 cup fresh or frozen fruit (strawberries, bananas, peaches, etc.)
- 1 tsp brewer’s yeast (optional)
Combine all ingredients in a blender. Pour into ice pop molds and freeze until firm. Serve frozen.
NOTE: Depending on how healthy you want to get, you can add 2 oz. of
tofu, a tablespoon or two of flax seed or wheat germ, or ground nuts.
However this will affect flavor and texture. Noah doesn't mind the
additions...on some days, these pops serve as a meal!
