EandT's Beef & Pasta Skillet

I think you might be able to find a gluten-free pasta if you
needed to. Anyway, here's a really easy, pretty quick (and one-dish!)
main dish:
3/4 lb. ground beef
1 14. oz can vegetable broth
1 TBSP Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 8 oz. can stewed tomatoes
1 1/2 C. corkscrew pasta
*Cook ground beef in skillet until browned; drain fat
*Add broth, worc. sauce, spices, and tomatoes
*Heat to a boil
*Stir in pasta
*Cover & cook over low heat for ~10 min, stirring often
*Uncover
*Cook 5 min., or until done
Now, I do NOT like stewed tomatoes, and the thought of vegetable broth
wasn't that appealing the first time I tried this, but we all *love*
it. It's also low-fat and low-sodium, though I tend to alter the recipe
to use garlic salt instead of powder--just my preference. I usually
make green beans while it's cooking and add a fruit, and sometimes
garlic toast for other sides. Easy and quick!
