Dad's Almond Christmas Candy
1/3 cup honey
1/3 cup whipping cream
1 cup butter (no margarine!)
1 cup sugar
Grease 5 8" aluminum pie plates or cake pans with butter. In a saucepan
bring above ingredients to a rolling boil and boil for 1.5 minutes.
4 cups sliced almonds
Remove from heat. Divide mixture evenly into pie plates so that it is
approximatley 1/4 inch thick. Bake at 375 or until golden brown. Remove
from oven and allow to cool in refridgerator for 30 minutes. Pop candy
out of pans.
2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips in saucepan and pour evenly over
candy. Cool and break candy into bite size pieces. Keep refridgerated!
